The small sapling planted in 1952 has
proliferated into vivacious branches of dance music, erudite
presentations and has become a cynosure as an epitome of the “Mother
Centre of Odissi”.
After long sixty years of eventful
journey the Kala Vikash is marching ahead to celebrate the Diamond
Jubilee in November 2012.
Senior Odissi dance students two each
from all over Odisha will participate in the demonstration dance,
before the experts.The cultural programmes in the evenings will show
case all the traditional forms of Odisha which includes the Tribal,
Folk, Odissi other dying performing arts, Odissi vocal music and
concert of musical instruments.
